Coral AB+ Question

Will Coral AB+ help Cheito/Macro Algae growth? I was thinking about using this for my Coral and was wondering if as a side effect it helps macroalgae growth. My macroalgae tends to grow really fast for about a week then slowly starts to die off. I'm assuming for a lack of nutrients.

Thats what is happening. They make supplements directly geared toward Marco algea. I would look at that. You can cut back run time on cheato with out ill effects on it. That way you arnt stripping the water.

I would instead cconsider somitting like chaeto gro or a some iron supplement. If your nitrate and phosphate are too low, just feed some more or turn your light period down. What light do you have?

Yep good idea I have the AI Fuge. It grows like mad then shuts down after it sucked everything out of the water

I always had problems whete the chaeto would grow like crazy and then die after a while. Once I started chaetogro I never had that problem again.
