Thanks for the chart, but I’m not sure I fully understand.
can two aggressive corals be next to each other since they’re both aggressive? Aggressive with a passive? Defensive with a passive? Aggressive with a defensive?
There are some corals that always win - Galaxia, Pectinia, Hydnophora.
But if you are talking about two similar corals like acro vs acro, or acro vs GSP, then there are multiple factors that can affect the situation more than which coral has bette defenses.
While some corals can outsting each other, some corals can outcompete each other.
A montipora which 'usually' have relatively weak defenses, and might be stung to death by an aggressive acro, could easily overtake such an acro if it was above the acro and had the ability to plate over the top of the acro shading it, faster than the acro could sting the base and damage it.
And yet put side by side on a frag rack the acro might run right over the monti.
The 'chart' you are looking for is problematic, because conditions and situation are just as important for defense as is natural defenses.
A more aggressive coral can be irrelevant if the flow in the tank is constantly pushing it away from the less defensive coral.
