Anyone dosing Brightwell Coral Amino? How are you doing it? Instructions say to target feed, use 20 drops. This is such a small amount that it is hard to suction it. Are people mixing it with a cup of tank water?

When I add Aminos, Acropower specifically, I put my dosage in a specimen cup, add some Reef Snow as a binder, wait about 10 minutes, and pour tbe mix into the return intake about 10 mins before lights out.
sameeee

red sea reef energy a+b + reef roids

I use acro power now as well. It’s great. I add it directly to the tank slowly. I use reef snow as well when the lights are out once a week. As for the aminos, when I used it, I used about 25 drops for my tank. Was a safe number for 70 gals. Just have to keep track of your nutrient parameters. Acro power is great though.

I use to add aminos and fuel, I didn’t really notice much of a difference. I started acro power a few weeks ago and coloration improved.

I would send out a message to @WWC and get their take on Brightwell's Coral Amino. They use it with all of their feedings. Check out this video at 27:00

Thanks, everyone. Really not looking to know whether or not to use it or how good it is, what I am asking if anyone is target feeding and if so, how do they do it? The instructions recommend target feeding over just adding to the tank.

When dosing acropower all that was done was straight pour in front of a powerhead in the morning before the lights came on.

You can target feed using any feeding device other than the glass dropper. Just add it in the path of your power heads and it will circulate throughout the tank.

Yes mix the drops in tank water and target feed that to the corals. I like to mix aminos in with my frozen food as it thaws then feed that to the fish and corals.

I was wondering if I should be mixing Brightwell’s amino with something like MarineSnow? I’m currently mixing Brightwell’s Amino with ReefRoids….
