Coral and Critter ID please

Hey guys I picked this piece up yesterday for a low price, the vendor marked it as a carnation coral, but I have a carnation and it does not look similar, also I saw what looks like a white and orange worm on it. If anyone has any knowledge on these things I would appreciate it if they could share it, thank you.

The worm looks more like the leg of a mini brittle star.

The corals looks like it could be a NPS, expert only secondary to nutritional needs. Please see link below.
