Alright I'm stuck deciding so I'm going to turn to you guys for your opinions. I'm sick of using a Dremel or other tools to cut frags, so I'm ready to shell it out for a decent band saw. Which is the one that you prefer? The dfs 100 or the Gryphon AquaSaw? Any input is appreciated.

It definitely looks nicer, but $200 more than the other. I'm liking that the reservoir is under it and recirculates versus needing a tub under it to catch what falls from the top. Anyone own the dfs 100 that can say otherwise? Just trying to get other ideas before I jume on one.

Yeah I got one and my buddy has one and the store he works for has the other he likes gryphon more but for me the 100 does the job for me but if I would do it again I'd get gryphon just cause of word of mouth

I just use a $100 skil band saw with a $100 diamond blade, works with everything

I have a couple of them and they just set around taking up space along with one inland. I mainly offer sps for sale and no longer use a saw. But, I want to keep one around just in case its needed. They are a little louder due to not using a factor blade but a gryphon blade can be put on and issued solved. I've always used the aftermarket blades due to the huge price difference and the little extra blade noise never bothered me.

Go with the Gryphon. It's the only one I've used so I am biased. You are welcome to try mine out if you take care of it and clean it. I'm anal when it comes to clean stuff. Haha. Mine looks nice and has been used a decent amount.
