coral banded shrimp

i just set up my new 110 gal reef mixed reef ' sofeees' sps' and I have plan's to stuff this reef to the (Gill's) . i was told by a good friend that it's not safe for it to be in the reef so it's in the sump what a waste any one have any idea's

Generally, they don't get along with other shrimp.
However they are cool to watch

ok thats why. i think we talked about that. if i rember right when we set the new tank up and were getting some unwanted fish and thing's out for the new reef.the clean up crew came into play and the coral banded got banded!! thank's maybe it was alll them beer's lol.

It's up and running but me and roshi719 built a manafold i think thats how to spell that. any way's to have my rp run the carbon gfo then go to the skimmer and then the chiller then then into the tank. but i busted a part so all are running off there own pump's right now. should be getting the part next week if you need any help with setting any tank's just hit me up !

I always had CBS (pairs) in my FO and reefs in the past. Never had any problems with fish or other shrimp.

As long as there is plenty of room, the Banded should be no problem. In my 225 I have a pair of CBS, 2 skunk cleaners, 1 blood shrimp, and 2 harlequins. They have been together for 7 months now no problems.

I have a CB, 2 fire and 2 skunk cleaners in my 55 reef with no problems. I'm pretty sure he did get some peppermint shrimp though. I don't see the CB that much though.

edit- and a pistol shrimp which I never see, but hear every night.

I have a CB in my 29gallon nano. He walks over the corals I have but doesnt disturb them. The CB taunts my clown but the clown just pushes him away. I also have a pistol shrimp who lives under the rock...its been 8 months and never a problem.

they're reef safe, you have a huge tank, should be alright with other shrimps, crabs.

IME big cleaner shrimp can be just as aggresive to pepermints, fact is most shrimp are territorial and bigger ones win. Just give em enough room and everthing will be fine.
