Coral beauty in a reef

I know CBA's are have a 50/50 chance of being reef safe, but I really only have "weed" corals such as xenia, GSP, fast-growing mushrooms, etc.
This may sound dumb, but given the durability of these corals, should I have issues? I do have some zoas but I can always move them to my 10 gallon.

If you want the fish more than the coral then go for it. Softies are durable

I’ve got one and he doesn’t touch corals but of course it depends on the individual fish

Hes very grumpy though and doesn’t like new comers!

I have owned several CBAs in reefs and they have all behaved just fine around coral (I’ve owned softies, and stony coral with my past ones). You should be just fine with that mix!!

Same here… have had CBs in my reef tanks for over 30 years without problems

I got a biota coral beauty 8 weeks ago. Was perfect, never did a thing. Then 3 days ago he was TEARING APART one of my goni's and chalices.

Many years ago in my 180, I had a wc coral beauty that didnt touch a single coral for 4+ years.

Every fish is different unfortunately...if you think its worth the gamble, go for it. But be prepared to take him out if he starts nipping.

Mine was the same. Never touched any corals, but seemed to lay claim to much of the rockwork in my tank and would chase any fish that got too close to his rocks. Never turned into anything more than chasing. grumpy is a good description of mine also. I have a mixed reef, LPS, SPS and softies, and he never touched any of them.

I had a similar experience with another dwarf angel. Left everything alone for ages then decided he liked sarcophyton, of all things.
