I got home from work this morning and noticed my coral beauty lying on its sand in the sand. I was able to get it in an acclimate box and notice and injury or infection to its gills and body. I just it last week and has been doing fine in the tank until today. He is very lethargic and swims vertical in the box. Any suggestions?

This looks like a superficial injury and fish will require treatment in a separate quarantine setting treated with Seachem Kanaplex or maracyn 2 and water quality maintained with use of reliable test kits and added aeration with an air stone

The pictures aren’t clear, but this could be Uronema. That would account for the fish being lethargic. I hate to tell you, but if it is, you won’t be able to save the fish, it just isn’t treatable when it involves that much of the fish.
