Coral beauty losing scales?

Has anyone ever seen this? My coral beauty and 1 green chromis has been in qt together. They have finished copper, spectrogram, GC in water column, and were fed GC soaked food. They have been med free for almost 2 weeks. While in copper, the coral beauty started losing scales around its eyes and face area. Well now the chromis appears to be missing scales as well. The coral beauty has been like this for a few weeks, so I was leaning more towards hlle and have been trying to make sure it was fed well with vitamins and have clean water with no ammonia. Well I noticed today the chromis is missing scales now as well, just not this bad. So now I'm worried that this maybe uronema. I started metro immediately. What does anyone else think? Also what is the correct dosage and intervals between dosages of metro in the water for possible uronema?

Just wanted to add that I scooped the chromis out of the tank to check and see if there was any redness near where the scales are missing and there isn't. Just a darker area where the scales used to be. I'm stumped. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

honestly not sure but good luck, try to talk to your LFS to see if they have the same problem (assuming you got the CB from there), the only thing I can think of outside a disease is a parasite or the fish are fighting. But good luck mate

has it been getting worse slowly or suddenly? What I'm trying to say is, is it progressing steadily or suddenly basically could it be the fish fighting?

That doesn’t look like Uronema but being a Chromis I would treat for it anyways just to insure you don’t introduce it to your DT.
2 scoops of Metro per 10G and Metro+Focus laced food. Both for 14 days.

Have you done a FW dip to check for flukes yet? I suspect this could be a reaction to copper or bickering between the two fish but a FW dip wouldn’t hurt either.
What were your copper levels during treatment and how did you test?

We'll the cb hasn't got any worse, but I just noticed the chromis problem today. It could be aggression.

We'll I've already done a 14 day course of GC so I figured flukes were taken care of. I think bickering may be the problem. I've never noticed them fighting before but I don't know what else it could be. I'm going to continue this course of metro though just to be sure

if possible you could try separating them to see if their condition continues to stay the same or if it improves you could put it down to aggression. you could try putting a divider in the quarantine tank but I'm not sure what you have available
