Coral beauty stopped eating

Coral beauty hasn't eaten in the last five days! Water perams are good. No signs on a disease or anything like that. It's still swimming around. I tried angelfish food with sponges in it but thay didn't work. Tried seaweed on a clip and nothing. I feed a variety of brine, mysis, krill, rods food and emerald entree, plus pellets and flakes, so definitely no food shortage here. Please help me out if you know whats going on. TIA.

The foods you mentioned trying should have worked.
What test kits are you using ?
Anything unusual such as heavy breathing, shaking head left to right ?
Any yawning effect ?
Angel formula with sponge is intended for large angels such as emperor, asfur, queen, etc
My suspect is water/water quality. ammonia-salinity-temperature as example

I am using API test kits, but ha e my water tested at a LFS twice a month. Everything is fine as fat as water perams go. The fish is acting completely normal, no heavy breathing, no yawning, no shaking head. The temp us at 78, salinity is 1.025 and ammonia is 0. All other fish are fine

Do you have Yellow and or Orange Sponges growing on the under side of your rocks? If so, that’s what it’s eating.

If the fish isn’t breathing fast or flashing (scratching) off of rocks or other hard surfaces, there’s a good chance it just has an upset stomach. There isn’t anything to do except keep feeding a little bit daily and wait. If your LFS carries live brine shrimp, you might try that.

Thank you. Now that you said something, I don't think I've seen it . I'm hoping that that's what it is. Like I said its been moving around well, and no fast breathing or spots or anything unusual

I noticed my Orangeback Angel “Indian Ocean” was missing being at the auto- feeder. I sat one evening, far enough back, watching the fish. Noticed it was almost laying down to get under the back of the rocks. It was eating on a growth of sponges. Rather than this destroying sponges, they took off on growth. Also the Angel is hot and cold on the sponges eating. BTW, I feed it Pygmy Angel Formula too.

Even though it’s not eating the food offered .
it’s possible it’s picking at , grazing and eating other stuff in the tank such as algae , pods , sponge

My coral beauty is doing well, it has been eating like normal for the past couple of days! Not sure what it was but she's alive and well. Thank you everyone again for the tips.
