Hey guys,
So on Tuesday I went to my LFS and picked up 2 new fish. One a coral beauty angelfish and the second a royal gramma. While there I tried to pick out the healthiest ones that I could tell. So my plan for my tank is to add all my fish and then add ruby reef rally and kick ick to get rid of anything that may become a problem in the future. I have a quarantine but the problem is that I live in Canada so it is very difficult to find some medicines. Including copper! Anyways so I’ve had this coral beauty for 4 days now and when I first got him I noticed a small white patch that almost looked like it was part of him. Definitely not ick or velvet. I just went on assuming that he had a small white patch within his coloration. Now recently over the past few days I’ve noticed that white patch slowly turn into a small hole. Now you can clearly tell it’s a small hole in the back of his top fin. Also on the top fin (sorry I don’t know what the fin is called) the top of the fin seems to be slowly revealing some small white things. Kinda look like white spikes out of his top fin. So this morning I decided to add my first dosage of Ruby Reef Rally. I followed the direction on the bottle and added it to tank. Came home today and everything seemed to be still going AOK. Now the problem is that I am leaving for the long weekend till Monday night and will not be able to complete the rally dosage of 3 straight days. Is this Ok?
