Coral Beauty with white spots?

Hey I'm new to reefing so I don't really know what to say this is. Is it ich velvet or just substrate on him? It's swimming fine and eating fine still has bright colors so the colors aren't fading. I'm new to this hobby so any information on what this might be would be great.

Welcome to R2R! First off do the spots appear to resemble granules of salt stuck to his body? If so and there aren’t a million of them it’s probably ich. If he has so many spots you can’t count and appears dusted that would be Velvet. Was he QT’ed? What other fish are in with him? Do you have a QT tank? Copper?

There are several spots all over him and he wasn’t quarantined none of my other fish 2 damsels and a clown don’t have any spots on them but they were all here before the coral beauty. I don’t have a quarantine tank but will probably go get one if I have to treat him. Just worried I’ll kill him since I haven’t had to quarantine ever and what I researched chance of success your first time isn’t great.

I would just keep feeding heavy make sure he keeps eating and u should be ok. I not a big fan of QT might caught heat for saying that but I think you will be ok if she is eating

Appears as ick. Could be protozoan also. PraziPro may work but likely will be a copper treatment
