Good Evening folks,
So about two months ago I got the hipargero 30w light for my fluval 13.5. I ran it for the first month on pretty much full blast. Around the 1 month mark when I was doing a mid-day water change (nice sunlight to illuminate the tank) I noticed that some of my zoas and leathers looked a little faded, and a few of the LPS had distinct patterns that followed the path of the hipargero light.
I took all of this to mean that I was bleaching the coral with too much light, so I did a bunch of searching on here and other forums and found the intensity that most other folks are using on this tank with that light.
Since then things have seemed good and the corals have regained some but not all of their original color. My question is how long does it take for them to fully recover?
TL/DR: How long does it take for LPS and soft coral to get their color back after they get bleached from excessive light.
