I have 4 cats and none are remotely interested in any of my reefs. When my youngest was a kitten he did watch it but he quickly outgrew that phase.

can't believe this post just came up we just adopted a 3 month old kitten from the human society and she is absolutely mesmerized by my tank don't have a pic just yet but will add one when she wakes up and goes over to watch the fish love it

I have had cats since I have had tanks.i only have one cat left. I got him as a rescue when he was five weeks old. Unfortunately he was born blind. He does get mad at me when I work around the tank

My cats couldn't care less about my fish tanks. There's even a bench next to the reef tank but they have never shown any interest as far as I have seen.

Same here. If they happen to be looking that way and a fish darts around really fast they're interested for a second but that's it.

Bonsai watches my orangeback basslet like a hawk and I swear they have staring contests, and he bats at the tank.
He doesn't really watch the clownfish too much, once in a while when he gets bored he'll watch them for movement.

This was just sent to me by my wife. This one loves the tank. She sat in it when it was dry, and took interest again once we put in our Molly miller blenny. She loves watching all the fish in it now. Last night she was testing out the new screen tops, thankfully just stepping on them with one paw while walking across the tank. She sometimes stands on her hind legs and puts her paws on the glass to get a closer look. Our other cat couldn't care less.
