I am looking for an article that discusses new coral cleaning. Having a tough time. Any direction welcome

Is this a coral you are buying to clean before adding it to your tank? A tad confused

If new dry rock, Bleach and water mix works effectively but cold water rinse until smell gone. If live rock, place in container with water flow pump and heater and allow to circulate in the dark for 3 days

What is your goal for coral cleaning? It's not normal vocabulary used when discussing reefing.

If you mean inspecting and or treating new coral to mitigate introduction of pests into your system, we call that QT or dipping coral.

You mean dipping a new coral before placing in your system. Right?

Ok thanks Yes QT

Dip it, and scrub what is exposed of the rock its on/skeleton. I always try and detach my frags from the rock/plug they're on, so I can glue them onto my scape, and reduce the risk of pests.
