I've recently lost a battle with Ich. I lost about a dozen fish leaving me with a couple chromis and a six line wrasse. I was thinking of catching those three fish and letting my tank run w/o fish for a couple months to ensure all the ich dies off.
My question is since corals feed off of fish pooh (after it breaks down), how can I keep my corals colored up? I'm currently running the Triton method and would prefer not to add too many other things if at all possible.

Thanks for your input!

Any decomposing organics will work, some use fish food, but honestly your inverts and coral will do the trick minimally I would figure
