I have had a couple of corals in my tank for over a year. They were bought from a UK mail order supply. I bought them because I thought they looked great in the advert. But, despite growing they have never shown any colour like the adverts. Is there a way to bring out those colours? I feed my corals (frozen food or reefroids) about once a month. They are about half way down in the tank at about 8 inches of a 17 inch depth.
see coral advert pics and how they look in my tank.
I welcome any suggestions.

The advants looks like they're taken under deep blue light and photoshopped judging from the blue background and how the colors bleed. It looks like you're using a more white light so you can change your lighting to use only blue lights and see how much closer the zoa's look to the advent with that.

Thanks for your reply. When the lights ramp down in the evening there is a bit of colour but nothing like the adverts. If their photos have been photoshopped I think it’s misselling. Lots of tanks I see on R2R have wonderful colours in the corals. Mine are basically greens.
