Coral compatibility!

So when i add corals wether its lps or sps i give them as much room to grow as possible i just dont let them touch.. however i have seen so many mixed tanks jam packed with corals and i was wondering how do you go about knowing which corals wont fight with each other? Any tips of this

Usually same species won’t fight. For example, all of my euphillya touch no problem
