How many of you consider your coral as pets? I know, its sort of a crazy question but may have some meaning in the near future.....
Keep in mind, you have to water them, feed them, take care of them, you go out of town they have to be taken care of and so on!

Its not just feeding and caring for them, Remember they are living animal and we spend a big amount of our income all sorts of other things aditives, vitamin, good kind of salt and the best food so they should be considered as PET.

So Yah they are petsssss for me infact my Wife and Grandaughter gives them names.

I completely agree!
I have heard of many people naming there fish, I think its great

considering I had to go to the vet to get medicine for my acros... Yes I consider them pets.

It's always funny to get that card in the mail that says coral is due for his checkup. LOL

Thanks funny!
I wanted to see if people thought I was crazy to ask such a question or to indicate that coral are pets. Best pet ever, in my opinion!
I will reveal the reason behind this shortly......

I consider every coral I have as a pet. I hate seeing any of them get hurt or aggitated. Well...thats not true, mushrooms and cheap palythoas and green star polyps can burn :)

I tried getting Interceptor from 1800PetMeds (unsuccessfully), and still get emails about it being time for Acropora's heartworm meds and scented shampoo's:D. I chuckle every time I get one.

You dont have a dog you can "get Interceptor for?" Or do you need a prescription or something?

NOT!! I consider them more as "children" than pets, because they cost so much to raise!
hehe

I see that you like the expensive pets, reef keeping and your English Bulldog.... I have and English Bully as well! Did you have them for sale on here a while back?
Just thought I would show her off!

I definitely love all my corals, considering them a pet is one thing but I mainly cherish them, like I would a favorite tree, or plant, meaning I want to do everything possible to contribute to their growth and well being. i want to provide all the means necessary for them to color and grow...As for a pet, I wouldn't go that far, I mean my coral can't jump up on the couch with me and snuggle like my cat can :)

Nice looking girl REEFER.I like the way she holds her ears...
