Skeleton would be missing flesh .What are the go to signs of a coral death? Or if that's too broad what do euphyllia display when they are dead?
Sometimes if things are not too bad you can stop the flesh from receding and it can make a full recovery. Is it always around an entire head when they are dead or just a section?
It’s okay, when you get a pic post it in the tread is it still extending ?Ok basically I had a frag that was healthy and getting hammered with hair algae so I took it out and dipped in peroxide. I just don't know if I killed it and I don't have a picture of it on me right now sorry
My apologies I think we responded at the same time haha , yes give it a few days if you dipped it the get really P offLike I said it hasn't yet but I still see flesh in it so maybe it just needs a few days
Yeah peroxide dip will tick it off for a couple of days but euphyllia typically pretty tolerant of peroxide dips as long as it wasn’t crazy aggressive solution.Ok basically I had a frag that was healthy and getting hammered with hair algae so I took it out and dipped in peroxide. I just don't know if I killed it and I don't have a picture of it on me right now sorry
Did you use tank water?Nope just dripped in 3% peroxide till it bubbled for a couple minutes like others have suggested on here. Funny enough the alveopora I also dipped that night(in different water)is completely open and thriving.
