If I'm buying frags do I place the whole coral in the solution or just the plug? I know sounds dumb but I know nothing about corals. I want to get a QT too. Will a nano all in one thing work? Soft corals only. Do you want the frags to grow over to your rocks or just keep them in the sand? Help!

Ideally, unless they are plastic frag plugs, you will want to remove the frag from the plug. The reason is that the plug absorbs the dip and that could now leach back into your tank.

Once you dip the frag, you can now re-glue to a new plug, or directly to rock.

Note that no dips kill eggs, so inspect the frag closely.

I just read about the poison and toxins from corals. Might just stick to fish.
