coral dip

I'm about to buy my first coral dip, what would ya recommend as the best ?

Not to say you are wrong, but I am also interested in dip comparisons...I know that the bottle says it is exactly the same as revive...

Got any links to anything? I would love to see some material on the matter.

I personally have been using Revive...not based on anything just a guy I bought corals from used it. Julian Sprung always seems to have nice products as well.

i see if i can find the article i read it a while ago.. i think that since coral rx doesn't use iodine like other dips its supposed to be less stressful

I keep both TMPCC and Coral RX on hand. I like them both.

I like the Revive as well.

I have use all of them, I find Coral rx to be a little harsh on some corals and not others, Revive is easier on the corals, Melafix even though is not a dip specific for corals is my first choice this days.

I wasn't able to determine if Coral Rx or Revive was more harsh on corals. Revive fogs up the water. If the water is all foggy it makes it impossible to see any tiny pests came off.

Coral RX keeps the water clear, making it a lot easier to see if anything came off of the coral.

i have heard of a 2 step dip method... use revive and then rx revive is good for most pest but i think there is something rx hits that none of the other ones do... also the revive is good for getting a majority of the rough pest where rx might not be strong enough... just my 2cents... but i have heard of 2 step method is the best to address all issues

i was refering to more like back to back doing a double dip... on all corals

I use coral Rx for just about everything. When I frag corals I use seachem's reef dip to help heal the corals.
