I've usually just rinsed well with hot water and then RODI, then dry them. Then, use them next time. But I've never "cleaned" them with anything.

I'm wondering if I'm doing it wrong or if there is a best practice? How do you clean your coral dipping containers to get them ready for next shipment? Same for fish acclimation containers?

Thanks for any input or ideas!

There probably isn't just one single correct answer but I don't acclimate in anything that has ever had dip in it. I keep two containers separate and labeled. Just an extra precaution.

We just rinse in tap water and let dry. We do maintain a set for quarantine fish tank and one for tanks with no copper. And separate containers for dipping, too. But we've only been in the hobby for less than 2 years so take it for what its worth!

Thanks for the replies. Just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing some super important part of reusing containers. Sounds like I'm good just keeping them separate and rinsing them out.

Thanks again!
