I rarely dip corals. I impulse buy corals and never buy dip because I tell myself, “I won’t be buying corals anytime soon”. Then I find myself buying corals. I know there are different dips. Some contain iodine; some don’t. I understand they kill things like red bugs, flatworms, bacteria. But will they kill ich? Velvet? Some say they kill them but some don’t. What’s the best dip? I’ve been running fallow for quite awhile now. But adding fish in soon. So I think it’s crucial as any parasites that have come in via coral will have lived out its lifespan by now.

I use two little fishes revive. Best way to be sure is to QT your corals. Not everyone does that, I don't.

Coral RX has always done me wonders. I even dipped some LR in that and boy, just watch those critters squirm!
