Getting ready to order my first coral order, first coral buy in well over a year, closer to 2! I just purchased bayer and plan to dip them in that first. Need to google directions. Should I, or can I, follow that up with either revive coral cleaner, and/or reef dip disinfectant. Or just use 1? Or 2 and if 2, which 2. Those are the 3 coral dips I have on hand now. Don't want to over stress corals, but don't want bugs in my newly rebooted system.

yes you can go from bayer to the others....
My dip procedure is
Bayer - Revive - FWE - Rinse - Rinse -Tank

probably a bit overkill but id rather overkill than under

Bayer is enough to get pests off. Revive works in the same way but is not as strong. Bayer is an insecticide whereas revive is an extract of citrus fruits (I believe). You can do both but don’t dip too long and be sure to dip in a container with tank water before placing in tank.

I use Coral Rx, then occasionally a freshwater dip or peroxide dip (depending on your of coral)... then a couple saltwater rinses... then into the quarantine tank.
You should NEVER freshwater dip corals. Especially not sensitive SPS, they can’t handle that osmotic difference
Sure fire to kill some corals

I use CoralRX and also have REVIVE on hand

I always dip in freshwater. Well, I spray them with freshwater. Then put them in salt.

Ive found tons of stuff that way. Maybe I haven’t had anything too sensitive yet though.

SPS can't handle it for sure. But, I have had good success with a quick freshwater dip for palys and many LPS without injury...the same is with a 50/50 peroxide mixture (again, except for SPS).

Most of my LPS are more expensive than my SPS so there’s no way I’m risking that. I’ve never had ANY coral get upset at being dipped in Bayer, even when I go full milky white (I never measure my dose)
