I have a zoa colony (80+ polyps +1 mushroom) not doing so hot. I think I'm losing them and can't figure out WHY as everything else in my tank is doing well and water parameters check out. To make matters worse I have a shipment of 9+ zoa frags, kaleidoscope clove polyps, candy cane, atlantis meteor shower, and green star polyps coming in this morning... I did a FW dip of the zoo/mushroom colony yesterday but almost killed the mushroom and looked like only copepods came off. Should I QT my struggling colony? Dip the new shipment in SW and Lugols? All I have for QT is fluorescents for tropical fish or I can run out and get some form of light (if ya'll have a cheapish suggestion I can run over a 10g bare bottom QT)

I'm open to any and all suggestions-pretty desperate here:squigglemouth:

You've got good ideas already. Personally after 4yrs of reefing and never being able to keep zoa's alive no matter what, while everything else thrives in my tank. I can't even begin to suggest what else you can do, sorry and good luck. Zoa's melt no matter what you do :(
