I am considering getting some new corals. I have never bought new corals before, so I am new to this whole process. In the interest of protecting my established corals from potential pests, and as a 30 day quarantine is not an option for me, what are some good, reliable coral dips? Please advise. Thank you!

Revive from two little fishies is a good one I use.

+1 to what @Flippers4pups suggested. I’ve been using Revive for a long time. One bottle lasts a long time and is gentle on corals and pulls lots of pests off.

I used to just use coral rx pro. 1 dropper full for 2L of H20 (this is a lot more than recommended but ive found it relatively successful). But after getting red polanaria I also iz in a few drops of flatworm exit to make sure i cover most if not all my basis. I also scrub the corals with a battlebrush lol.

I second this! If not the best it's one of the best! I only dip SPS with this, the other product that I used when starting out was CoralRx I only made the switch based off of a local and very successful SPS reefers recommendation.

You're on the right track for dip and QT, remember time and patience is a reefers best friend :) Welcome to Reef2Reef! Looking forward to seeing those new pieces!

I alternate dips of Brightwell KoralMD and Bayer Advanced insect killer. Problem with dipping corals is that a single dip won't get the eggs (although it is better than nothing). Multiple dips are required over a period of time to catch any newly hatched parasites before they can spread to the rest of the tank. If you can't setup a small quarantine tank for a few weeks, I'd look for vendors that quarantine prior to sale. If you only dip once and then plop coral in your main tank, it's probably just a matter of time until you have a problem. Having said that, your risk is much lower with aqua-cultured coral than with wild harvested (coral farms don't stay in business long if they don't keep their systems clean).
