Been using purified well water that is supposed to be more purified than the 180 tds that comes out of the sinks. I can’t test this however
That has been my sole top off water for 7 months.
I ordered rodi replacement filter and resin for my 4 stage rodi.
I used hw salt in initial fill up.
I ordered rodi booster pump set because my pressure is too low. I ordered a box of hw salt, I ordered a cor20 pump to pump the new salt water into the tank. I’m going to use 44 gallon brute trash cans to mix with heaters and $40 tunze powerheads to mix. Along with Milwaukee digital refractometer.
I have a yellow tang, flame angel, 2 blue chromosome, 1 dart fish, 2 blood shrimp, 1 tuxedo urchin and 1 emerald crab. I feed 1 cube of mysis per day. I had over 60 coral that are dying one by one. Mostly lps and zoas and a couple acros I didn’t ask for in a frag pack and 1 torch and 1 Duncan. 3 scolys 2 trachys and all scolys and trachys have died, zoas are dying, torch was found with one of two tubules dead. Acans are dying, and micromussa are all dying.
I have never done a water change until the one I’m going to do once my needed items arrive which will be here and ready to water change this Saturday (today is Monday) after talking with someone on here it seems that 7months of adding tds in ato water is the likely problem.
This saturday I want to know how big of a water change to do and how often and at what amount should I do water changes moving forward and as a part of my regular maintenance schedule. Thank you. It sucks to watch hundreds and hundreds of dollars in coral die and I can’t do anything about it (water change) for 5 days.
I won’t quit and will use this as a learning experience and move forward and over time put new coral into the tank that hopefully live and grow this time.
Thanks for everyone’s help. I seriously appreciate it!

I sent out a triton Icp test on 3 days ago. First time
