Hi All,

I got 6 coral frags today and would like your advice regarding their placement temporarily and permanent.
Right now, I have them on my Frag rack pretty close to each other. Is it ok to have them so close for a month or so till I figure out their final spot?
The corals are:
Green Favia Coral
Green Mouth Favia
Plating Montipora
Goldeneye Chalice
Bubblegum Chalice
Electric Platygyra

Thanks in advance. Also, any advice on permanent spot is also welcome in terms of proximity with other corals.

I can only provide information regarding your plating montipora sorry. I would suggest around halfway in the water column with the entire top surface area exposed to the light. I made the mistake of putting some of the coral in a shaded area and that portion is dying as opposed to the other which is going fine. Good luck with it!

I have has a plate Monti come back from very poor conditions. Monti is unstoppable. As long as it has med - strong "blue" light it will come back for sure. I frag my mine all the time. Had one flip over, almost lose all is color, and it's coming back. It's takes a while tho
