Coral gluing

I'm thinking about taking a lot of my coral off the plugs and I was wondering if I can just put coral glue right on the bottom of the coral itself to secure it to the rock? Or is there a better way?

Nope I just glue the base of the coral to the rock.

And that works with any type of coral?

As long as the glue isn't touching actual tissue. SPS/LPS no problems. Softies, the glue will eat away the tissue, or polyps will bail.

I have a question on this topic...
Say i split one of my hammers or frogs or torch... then glue that piece to a rock... then it grows and i want to cut it again...
then what ?
Can it be cut by the rock again...
