Coral Grow question

I have noticed that many of my coral SPS grow is happening encrusting on the rock( a lot). I don't see grow like sticks. Is this normal? Any advice is more than welcome.

Depends on the species, maybe u just have all encrusting...

Most acro frags that are purchased real small will entrust then they'll start shooting up.

Encrusting on the rocks is a sign of a healthy growing sps. If it’s a sps it will continue to grow up but also make a strong base!

I’m gonna say on your a good path . Now the goal is to keep your water parameters stable !
