Coral Growing Contest

I posted about a coral growing contest on the other slash forum. I wanted to get anyone who is only on one forum involved too. It has been a while since the club has done a coral growing contest and I have always enjoyed them. Does anyone here want to participate? We have yet to decide on a coral, cost of entry (probably just price of coral), or what prize any winners will get. I think the time frame should be from this swap on November 13th to the next swap. That should be 5 or 6 months of growing.

Talked with mcreefer who will be at the show said he has these. I asked him about a group price but wasn’t sure how many would participate.

Well Smoothdog has some leftover frags from the swap. I think we could work something out with him.?. If we are going until the next swap we only have to April 10th I think. We need to get going.

Rules:
1. Must get frag from Smoothdog and post a starting picture on this thread before December 1, 2021. It would be nice to have information on your post like lights, current calcium, mag, alk, po4, etc.
2. Must post one growth shot per month on this thread.
3. Growing until the week before the next fragswap on April 10th.
4. 1 week before the swap post a final growth picture in this thread. It would help to consolidate all growth shots into 1 post.
5. R2R SLASH forum will vote for a winner. Smoothdog has tie breaking powers. SLASH bod will moderate any issues with theses rules as they see fit.
6. Prizes (if there are any) will be announced at a later date and awarded at the April 10th show.
