Coral Growth and ID Request

Hi folks,

I've got a Duncan coral that appears to have a growth coming out the side, I think its just a new head, but can someone confirm?

Also, I spotted this dark spot on the underside of my chalice frag, and upon closer inspection, it looks like maybe some kind of snail, photo attached. Pest or OK to stay?

Confirm the new head off the side of the duncan.

The snail under the chalice looks like a vermetid snail. Dose it look like these?

Hmm, I haven't really seen that type of mouth/web coming out, but I'll look again this evening. I see where some have plugged it up with glue. Could I just take coral glue and squirt it on there if that's what it is?

That could work. It's also possible the snail is already dead and gone and just the tube is left.
