Coral Growth on E Marco 400

Does coral (mainly zoas and acros) grow on E Marco 400 cement? THere's a bunch of visible cement from my scape that I'd like to hide.

I haven't got to the coral yet but I see diatoms growing on the e400. They aren't however growing on some epoxy that I used. I assume that if diatoms can, other algae like coralline could grow on it and most likely coral too.
