Does anyone have any tips to help my corals grow big fast? I feel reef roids every once i a while, i have good filtration, good flow, i think my lighting is how it should be… My parameters are good. Any tips? I just feel like my corals have barely been growing and i’ve had some of them for a few months not and not much progress. Thanks.

It will help if we know more about your tank, can you share the lighting, flow, parameters, and filtration with us? Pics help a lot too.

“Good” is not very specific, we need to understand your situation better to provide advice

Yeah, I'd like to see your Ca, Mg and ALK, salinity and Temp. And PO4, NO3 as well as the size and age of your tank. This is in addition to what Mr. Mojo Rising mentioned.

Nitrate: 15-20

Nitrite: 0

Chlorine: 0

Alkalinity: 200

Ph: 8.4

Salinity: 1.026

Phosphates: .1

Temp: 78 degrees

I have a gyre pump and a round pump in a 40 gallon tank. I have a protein skimmer, carbon reactor, filter sock, filter floss, and all basic filtration. I saw a comment about reef roids spiking phosphates. I barely feed them and they don’t do much.

I have a reef led 90 that runs 55% blue and 30% white that runs for 9 hours

It takes a long time. Alot of times they just sit there and then all of sudden take off. Reef roids does help. Couple times a week and they will grow. I like ann algae scrubber tho if I gonna feed heavy.

Alk on the high side, what is your calcium?
Where is the coraline algae, a telltale of suitable water quality.

Also different corals grow at different speeds

That gsp can spread very fast

I bought a two head hammer that became 20+ heads in a year. Some growth is exponential

Example starting with a 2 head hammer. Each head splits at roughly the same speed. then you have 4. Then those split and then you have 8. Then those split and then you have 16. Then a year later you have…

The numbers you posted are fine. Your ALK is on the higher end but that's what I'm gonna run when I reboot, with Ca and Mg on the higher side (465 and 1390 plus or minus) as well. I see no issue with it.
