Ok noob question here.!!
Lets say you have an sps coral (stick) growing on a top rock...
Will it stop growing when it reaches the water line? Or will it continue to grow and cause damage to coral?
Or do you frag it off before it reaches that high?

Corals grow to a the water line in the ocean. That said water line in high tide is different than at low tide. There is nothing quite like the smell of coral at low tide ... phhhhewwww :nose plugged:
 
Depends on what SPS we are talking about. I've seen green slimmer plate on its tips at the waterline. I have a colony of acro that is at waterline.
