I see some pest type algae maybe cyano which may indicate excess nutrients or unstable chemistry.

What are your current parameters and how long they been consistent?

Certainly very unhappy.

Any others unhappy?

Torch is dying, hammer may be on its way. Need full parameters and tank background.

The tank appears to be covered in dinos and or cyano so we need complete tank parameters to assess your situation. The algae is indicative or a problem with your parameters affecting your coral.

It's likely the flesh band has been receding for awhile now assuming it was healthy when purchased. It just finally affected the head and you noticed.

Your tank's water parameters would help the community immensely to diagnose what could be killing your coral..

Alkalinity
Phosphate
Nitrate
Nitrite
PH
Ammonia
Magnesium
Calcium

etc....

If "everything is fine" then your corals shouldn't be dying, right? To figure out whats wrong with a coral, you need all water parameters, tank info, lighting and flow info, as much info as possible. We can't help you if you can't share the info.

Everything is fine a bit low on calcium and alkalinity

You need to share your tank and parameters for this community to even guess as to what is wrong.

If everything is fine, so are your corals. A bit low calcium, then bump it up and your coral is fine again.

I wish it was that easy. Your calcium "low" might mean 320ppm. We think 380ppm is low while you think it's perfect.
This is why you need to share.
If you don't know, that's okay, just tell us you don't know.

We need to know all parameters that you do know.
What lights? Settings?
What powerheads? Settings?
How long has the tank been up? Did you use live rock or dry rock?

I can tell you, looking at your pictures, you have cyanobacteria and probably dinoflagellates.
Your flow is probably too low and lights are probably too low also. But, that's a guess based on only a picture and knowing nothing else.
