I had a green mushroom split into 3 and one of them has decided to release for the rock and it is floating around. Can I glue it down? Help

I think with mushrooms it's best to tie with fishing line (or a rubberband) the mushroom down to the rock and let it's foot regain hold on the rock. The foot will take hold after a while.

Mushrooms are way too slimy for the glue to work.

If you have a shallow disposable tupperware, those work best. Put a piece of rubble for it to grab on to and set the mushroom in it and cover it with some clear mesh or bridal netting, or panty hose or something to keep it from getting out, it will then attach to the rubble and then you can glue the rubble anywhere you want.

+1 on this, especially if you're fragging it (you can cut it in half or quarters with some of the center disk on each piece and they will all grow back). Sounds like rubberband to a rock would be simpler if it's just one mushroom though, just never tried it myself.
