I'm making a list of corals for my tank, I think I want to stay with the soft corals/LPS. I think my preference is corals that move, and the ones that don't, I want to be colorful....but easy to care for by doing simple water changes.

my question is, is it better to stick with a few different corals, or have say 2 torches, some mushrooms, Some zoanthids, polyps?

I'm not entirely sure how to attack this part of the process.

Tank description is in my signature.

120 gallons
water flow is a Maxspect Gyre at 30%
Lighting is Photon 48

I have mostly softies and a few lps in my 120. no sump, hang on skimmer, 150 lbs. of live rock. no dosing. just run some carbon once in a while. I didn't want to dose so no sps for me. not as nice as the sps tanks but I'm happy with my first sw tank.
