Coral help

Almost looks like too much flow coming in from the right side to me.

So a few days ago my LFS tested all my levels and every thing was spot on. I recently installed a UV light last night and I noticed that the flow was a bit more restricted do to that so I couldnt see an issue with too much flow. Would coral suck up like that if something was picking or sitting on them?

When you say 'spot on' what are the actual numbers?

I am not sure. My LFS tested them and said everything looked fine? Let me test everything and post.

I have had a problem with tainted frozen / refrigerated food before. Fed my corals and they all went crazy and 1/2 of them just went poof. What did you feed them?

I personally would suggest investing on a test kit for your home. Salifert is one that I recommend

I am with the earlier reply. I had some of my CC frag with too much flow on them and they did that same thing. I moved them to good flow but not as direct flow and they perked up and when the lights go down they seem to deflate anyhow

Yes it is an API Reef Masters Kit and just bought it to post my readings here. I had the normal saltwater API Reef Kit.

So I turned down my Gyre 2 clicks and they have puffed back up. We will see tomorrow. I am only running my Gyre 130 at 50% on my 75 gallon now.

It could be a flow thing. It also could be an alk thing depending on why yours is high.
If had low to higher tank alk acclimation problembs before and have heard similar as well.
There's not a lot of free nutrients in your tank either. Zeroes are not so good really. But those will change.
Not sure how bright your lights are but with luck the coral acclimates to the light and nutrients. In system. Lower flow lower light. Check on it at night and see if it gets feelers out and feed it.

I don't know. But I am more inclined to think that it's the water flow and light. But you never know. My tank went crazy about a year ago and just about crashed. I'm still recovering.
