I have a 120g tank that is about 2 months old. Did a 20% water change two days ago and my corals have all closed up and appear very unhappy. Had water checked and everything is in normal parameters. Only changes were used Red Sea Salt for the first time and added a DI cartridge this water change. Any idea what may be wrong?

Do you know your parameters before and after the water change? You could have had "good" parameters before the WC and altered your parameters higher or lower while still in range. Consistency is key, a swing in parameters could be the culprit; i'd start there. Are you dosing? What test kits are you using?

I did check them before and after. They checked out almost identical after the change. I am dosing calcium a couple times a week. Probably need a bit more. It is steady at 400 to 420. I am using a reef master test kit from API.

Did you use the coral pro salt by red sea or the regular kind? Do you know your exact parameters before an after? ALK swings are the most common contributor to unhappy corals. What kinds of corals do you have? I would also suggest upgrading your test kits, API are great for starting out when cycling a tank, but testing for ALK, CA, and MG is a gamble; Salifert is a relatively cheaper alternative with much more accurate results.

I used the regular red sea mix. I finished up the last of my reef crystals first,so I only used abt 25% of red sea to do water change. I have mostly green star polyps, zoas ,a leather toad stool and a frogspawn that seem to be closed up and shrinking a little. I have a candy coral that seems to be ok. I think everything was close after water change. I even took a water sample to have everything tested to double check it. I think I will do another water change with all reef crystals and see if that helps. Thanks for the help !
