Hi, I’ve been noticing green stringing looking stud coming from all my corals or getting stuck on my corals. Would anyone know what this is, how bad is this and what should I do to treat this problem thanks! I’ll leave pictures but it may be hard to see. I wanna say it’s like mucus but I don’t believe that’s what it is but I could be wrong.

It is algae. Green Hair Algae. I am sure there are chemical killers for it but killing it off naturally would be better. You can feed less food, lower the light’s strength, or buy a fish that will consume the algae. Tangs, Lawnmower Blennies, and some angelfish all consume GHA. There are also some invertebrates such as crabs that eat hair algae.
