+1 on candy cane and provide moderate light and water flow and feed 1-2X per week.

What's the best method of feeding? I just picked one of these up.

I don’t feed any of my coral directly including candy canes. I feed the fish which produce ammonia which biologically results in coral food. The coral also grab uneaten chunks of food as they drift around the tank. Candy canes in particular extend feeding tentacles at night and if you were going to feed them I guess that would be the best time to do it.
