Coral I.D. help

Hey reefers. I received a coral as a gift and I can not id it. If anyone knows what this is I would really appreciate the help.

looks like some sort of mushroom.

it looks like a ticked off acan, clean the algae from the tank and around the coral frag plug so it isnt being bothered by that

it could be a mushroom but i think i see a feeder tentacle ring in the center, hard to tell from pic, algae should still be removed though

That's a Micromussa lordhowensis, AKA 'Acan Lord'. The algae on the plug is ticking it off and making it trumpet out. Try and pick off as much of it as you can, then put a snail or two right on the plug and keep it there, so it can eat up the leftovers.
