I got this frag from a friend and we are both unsure on what it is but it doesn't seem to happy so I'd like to find out it's exact requirements. Thanks

Thanks I thought so just wanted to be sure, does it look happy? I have moved it round a few spots see where it looks best but not really decided yet. Thanks again.

Looks ok to me. Just find a place you like and leave it. The more you move it the longer it takes to adjust. What lighting do you have?

I have 4x39w t5's, 2 10k whites and 2 actinics over a Juwel Rio 180, as you can see it is placed on the sand because were had it before it didn't open up but that was right at the top. The tank is 18inches deep and the unit is 4 inches from the surface of the water. Thanks

I had it in my tank once. I pulled it out once it starting getting crazy. 4 years later I'm still plucking them out. Can't get rid of it.

Same here. Mine finally died when I nuked the tank for blue clove polyps with fluke tabs.

After I'd had it in my tank for about 6 mths I started seeing little trees pop up all over the tank. When I broke the tank down I found some on just about every piece of rock i pulled out.

So you think my lighting is okay ? Hopefully I can get to grow quickly I quite like it :)

Your lighting is just fine. I have had this coral grow on an over flow with almost no light.
