I've looked everywhere to figure out what this guy is, its pretty small still about the size of a nickel. Last time I asked on here someone said blasto but I don't think so I have blasto's and looks nothing like it.

So I assume if you asked before and you let it grow in your aquarium, it's not caused any problems? I would definitely do more research to find out what it is

Not really better pics however it is on a frag plug. what was your original purchase and have these overtaken growth, looks like usual zooanthoids but species is hard to tell as so many variations, if your unsure then I would say remove, I assume this is just a normal zoo as it was left to grow in aquriam :)

Not zoo's, this pic is the most it will close up when irritated. It just tightens into a ball.
