Coral ID, and 1 unhappy head...

I bought this coral from the Petco, a couple of weeks ago when they had their 30% off Saltwater sale. I don't know what it's called, and they could not even tell me what it's called. I liked it because of the way it looks under the blue light.

A couple of weeks have passed and the heads look "swollen" so I am assuming that it likes my tank, but I noticed that one head is not "swollen" like the other ones. Can anyone please make a suggestion on what I should do about this...unhappy head? Should I do anything at all?

The coral is at the backside of my DT at the gravel. It gets plenty of light from the DIY HOT5 light fixture. Thank you in advance.

Trumpet coral otherwise known as candy-cane coral, cool find

Don't worry about the one head, leave it where it's at but keep an eye on it...
Snail or crab probably irritated it, nothing to worry about

Candy cane or trumpet coral. I would also suggest that you be extra vigilant when purchasing from petco, Just a heads up. They couldn't tell you what they were selling lol.

They may not always have the best specimens available for us to bring home to our tanks, thus introducing something we don't want. experiences with petco vary from store to store. Petcos are just hit or miss. It raised a red flag for me that they didn't know what they selling or couldn't offer any help. Made me question they're husbandry, and what they actually knew. Just my .02 cents.

It's a candy cane! I wouldn't recommend buying from petco at all. If you do make sure you dip the hell out of it. I doubt there system is adequate enough

...every coral gets the dip, but you see something nice and it is hard to pass up, especially at 30% off...

...I agree with you on the hit or miss, I have seen some ugly tanks at one Petco, and at another location where they are immaculate...
