Hello all! I have a strange request, but hoping you can all help.
A couple of weeks ago our finished basement flooded and an emergency recovery team came in and set dehumidifiers and fans. Our 90 gal tank is down there built into the wall so unable to move it to safety. During this time they also sprayed some chemicals which I was assured were tank safe ( spoiler alert, it wasn't) . After they pulled all of their equipment I did a water change and noticed a pleasant smell from the skimmer when I dumped it. It smelled like what I like to call april fresh. Now all of our corals are shriveled and more than likely dying. The company wants to know how much the damage is....
What I need help with is coral ID and how much I should ask for replacement cost. We have had the majority of these given to us and have been flourishing...the leather alone is the size of a dinner plate...i have attached before and after pics, the before was a year ago and we have had lots of growth. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
