Mine seem to do better when fed some mysis, coral frenzy, etc. If you take it off the plug and glue it on a rock you'll probably get more interesting growth patterns.

I also need to know if that one and the one behind it are the same kind. I bought the purple one and the orange one was a freebie. Only it wasn’t labeled. I don’t want to fill my tank up with coral that sting. I want to have peaceful coral also. And if the Acan are spread everywhere then I’ll be limited on space.

The Genus has been changed, so it is Micromussa lordhowensis, the one behind it is the same species as well :)
I would not advise scraping it off the plug (it has a skeleton so a razor wouldn't work anyway) or trying to remove it as you could break or crack the skeleton and that's not something you want.

Can I put them next to each other then ?

Yup to Micromussa, old name acans.

You do not want to put Acans Enchinata next to Micromussa. The Acan Enchinata is very aggressive and looks like Micromussa.
