So I finally popped a light on and saw this guy on the TBS rock. Anyone know what coral? When I figure out the light I can put white on it.
I see the calcified structure so ruled out Aiptasia

My first thought would be a pest anemone, but if you see a calcified structure that makes me question it. If there is a calcified structure my next guess would maybe be some type of larger polyped LPS or maybe even NPS (like a fat head Dendro, rhizotrochus, balanophyllia, truncatoflabellum veroni, etc - not to get hopes up lol)

I'd say some sort of dendrophyllia. They are a NPS coral so if you want to keep it you should feed it :)

i second this :), however pictures under white light can confirm the ID

I hope it’s not a dendro. That’s a lot of care for those. They look cool though. Till I read up on the light settings for this, I tried a flash light so you can see the calcified base(s).

The fact it’s clear makes me think hidden cup coral

Look something like this?
More likely this

Looks similar to the one I have on TBS rock in my sump. It's been down there since last February and I don't do anything special to keep it alive.
I think they like shaded areas so probably sump is good. Hopefully it does well in the DT.

Looks like it might be a Ball Anemone

This is a ball anemone. Unlike aptasia and Majano, I had one 2 years ago and it remained, had nice color and only one more ever emerged. They remain small and here is a puzzling fact as others stated they are a good anemone. Anemone ???
Ball Anemones are actually not anemones at all, it is actually a mushroom coral that is commonly confused too many as a Majano Aiptasia. Unlike an Aiptasia, they are reef safe, they commonly stay closed during the day and open up at night. The tips if its anemone-like tentacles end with a ball tip giving it its' name

Geez, Tony. You're replying to someone else's photo, not the OP's... smh
We know the photo you're referring to is a ball anemone - says so right in the description!
